We congratulate our board member Andreas Flyckt who graduated with a Master degree in geotechnical engineering last autumn. Andreas and his fellow student Robin Rohwer Bokvist wrote the Master Thesis “On long term behaviour of overlapping pile foundations” that predicts long term behaviour of new method to make foundations for buildings on clay soils using overlapping piling technology.

The thesis was rewarded as the best within the geotechnical department at Chalmers 2016. Andreas and Robin got a scholarship which they used for a trip to Mexico City to study the technique.

At Swedish Geotechnical Society´s Foundation Day March 16 2017 the Master Thesis was also awarded as the best in Sweden competing with universities nationwide. At PRiMAB we are proud to wish Andreas and Robin good luck in their next study trip.
